Alexis Crow

Archaeologist

B.A., Anthropology, Western Washington University, 2019

Alexis earned her B.A. in Anthropology, with a concentration in Archaeology, from Western Washington University (WWU) in 2019. Before completing her degree, Alexis attended a field school with WWU on Mt. Baker focusing on the identification and recording of a historic CCC camp.

She also spent over six months as a museology intern in the WWU archaeology lab. She assisted with the cataloging and rehousing of artifacts and faunal remains from several sites on the Pacific Northwest coast.

Alexis has worked in the Pacific Northwest since 2019, with experience in Washington and Oregon. Her fieldwork has included pedestrian survey, shovel probing, data recovery, and construction monitoring. Additionally, she has experience with background research, report writing, and data entry.

She started working with WillametteCRA as a field technician in 2019 and became full-time staff in the winter of 2022.

Alexis’s research interests include household economy and faunal analysis. When not working she enjoys traveling, reading, and kayaking.
