Brigid joined Willamette CRA after completing her Ph.D. in Architectural history and theory at UCLA in 2022. Her expertise is in American architecture of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and its relationship to a broader understanding of American culture. For the past ten years, she taught at University of Illinois at Chicago, UCLA, University of San Diego and, upon moving to the Pacific Northwest, Whitman College. Prior to teaching, Brigid worked in architecture firms in New York, Boston, Chicago, and Dublin, Ireland. She surpasses the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualifications Standards for Architectural History.
