Elizabeth (Ellie) Seger

Archaeologist

Ellie earned her B.S with a focus in archaeology and biological anthropology from Portland State University. After earning her degree, she completed an archaeology field school in Ireland that focused on excavating and cataloging osteological remains from a Medieval Friary site.

Ellie has experience conducting fieldwork throughout Oregon and Washington. In addition to fieldwork, Ellie assists in compiling technical reports and conducts lab analysis, archival research, and data entry.

Her research interests include public archaeology, Indigenous land management practices, and traditional ecological knowledge.
