Essie Weiss-Tisman

Architectural Historian

Essie is an architectural historian with experience working in California and Washington State. In 2021 she worked in Sequoia and King’s Canyon National Park conducting a National Register of Historic Places determination of eligibility study of a potential Mission 66 district. In Joshua Tree National Park she prepared NHPA Section 106 materials and documents to aid park staff in the maintenance of cultural resources. 

At WillametteCRA Essie writes aboveground resource reports and context statements, conducts research, and assists in field survey work. Her interests include vernacular architecture, mass production, and historic movie theatres.
