Originally from the Bay Area, Jenaya has spent almost two decades exploring the Pacific Northwest. She joined WillametteCRA Portland team in spring of 2021 as a project intern and is now the Portland office manager.

Prior to joining WCRA, Jenaya had been a small business owner for almost twenty years. She has extensive experience with community outreach, organizing and outdoor leadership. Additionally, she has served a host of committees and volunteer positions.

While Jenaya’s primary interests lie in the realm of cultural anthropology, her curiosity and studies around archaeology have grown considerably and include many areas of inquiry including Klamath Basin rock art, climate change and transnational migration. 

When she is not working, she enjoys restoration projects, outdoor sports, gardening and hanging out with dogs.
