Archaeologist

B.A., Anthropology and Classics, University of Oregon, 2022

Madisen earned her B.A. in Anthropology and Classics from University of Oregon in 2022 with concentrations in archaeology and classical archaeology. She worked for the Museum of Natural and Cultural History during a 3-year period, accessioning and researching incoming archaeological collections.

Madisen started working with WillametteCRA as a field technician in 2022, becoming a full-time staff member in winter 2023 and has worked throughout the Pacific Northwest, specifically Oregon and Washington. Her fieldwork includes pedestrian survey, shovel probing, data recovery and construction monitoring. Other background experiences include data entry, lab processing and artifact research.

Madisen is interested in historical research throughout the Western states. When not working, she enjoys reading, playing with her cats and hiking throughout the Pacific Northwest.
