Michelle has worked as a professional archaeologist since 2011 throughout the Pacific Northwest, and has experience conducting fieldwork in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and California for private companies, federal agencies, and academic institutions.
With WillametteCRA, Michelle supervises fieldwork, writes technical reports, conducts map and archival research, and assists with GIS and preparation of artifact assemblages for long-term curation.
Michelle’s areas of interest include Northwest fisheries technology, human landscape modification, site formation processes, public outreach, and multi-disciplinary approaches to resource management.
Michelle is 40-hour HAZWOPER certified and is a member of the Register of Professional Archaeologists, Association of Oregon Archaeologists, and Association for Washington Archaeology.
